Albuquerque man sentenced for defrauding food stamps program

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – An Albuquerque man has been sentenced to four years of probation and ordered to pay more than $8,300 in restitution for defrauding the federal food stamp program.
Federal prosecutors say 47-year-old Wilfredo Lopez was sentenced Thursday.
He was one of six defendants charged in a 32-count indictment in August 2014 with the unauthorized use of food stamp benefits from September 2009 to May 2010.
