Albuquerque man pleas guilty to shooting at deputies

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man has pleaded guilty to shooting at deputies.
Alejandro Valdez, 25, stole a car and shot at Bernalillo County sheriff deputies in the South Valley in 2015.
At least one deputy shot back, hitting him in the shoulder. No deputies were hit.
The incident forced Barcelona Elementary School to be evacuated after deputies tracked him down at a nearby apartment.
On Thursday, Valdez took a plea deal.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced in three months.
