Albuquerque man gets 27 ½ years in prison for carjackings
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – An Albuquerque man accused of multiple carjackings and using a gun to commandeer a car from a woman and her three children has been sentenced to 27 1/2 years in federal prison.
Prosecutors say 26-year-old Thomas Martinez also was sentenced Tuesday to five years of supervised release.
They say Martinez committed a total of four carjacking and firearms offenses on July 22, 2015.
