Albuquerque issues health alert, shutdown notice due to blowing dust

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque – Bernalillo County Air Quality Program issued a health alert and shutdown notice Monday due to blowing dust.
Contractors and businesses that generate dust were asked to shut down at 11:50 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday.According to the health alert which is also in effect through 7 p.m., any residents of Albuquerque or Bernalillo County with respiratory conditions should limit outdoor activity.
