Albuquerque Aloft set to launch from 85 school yards Friday

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta will launch from the playgrounds of schools throughout Albuquerque and Rio Rancho Friday. Albuquerque Aloft has been taking place since 2001, providing students with an interactive learning experience. This year, 85 school yards will serve as a temporary launch site for Albuquerque Aloft.
