AFD: Tumbleweed fire near Double Eagle Airport contained

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Fire crews say tumbleweed fire near Double Eagle Airport has been contained.
According to the Albuquerque Fire Department, the fire is burning along Atrisco Vista and was contained to approximately 300 feet. AFD says crews were able to contain the fire quickly even with 15 mph winds.
At this time the cause of the fire is unknown.
