Accused serial rapist strikes plea deal

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (KRQE) — An alleged serial rapist has struck a plea deal.
Under the deal, Eddie Medrano pleaded guilty to eight charges including four counts of rape. Medrano could face up to 18 years in prison.
Medrano is accused of luring women off the street with drugs and alcohol, and then raping them and keeping them captive for days.
Medrano was originally facing 21 counts of rape.
