A very hot afternoon followed by evening rain

Temperatures reach their peak today across most of New Mexico. Isolated to scattered storms coming to the north this evening.It is shaping out to be a blistering afternoon across most of New Mexico. Many places reaching the upper 90s and into the triple-digits. Into the Southeast Roswell can see temperatures as high as 105 Degrees. Due to this the NWS has placed a Heat Advisory over the Roswell area from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 7th.
