A stretch of drier weather begins Thursday

Some of the driest weather since the beginning of the monsoon moves into New Mexico Thursday. Higher rain chances return on Sunday.Spotty showers have developed Wednesday across northern New Mexico and even into eastern parts of the state. A couple thunderstorms have been strong this afternoon in the northern mountains.
