A good month for homebuilding in ABQ

Home building in the Albuquerque metro area registered one of its best months of August for construction since 2009, reversing a general trend of a slowdown for most of 2015, according to the latest report from DataTraq.
Building permits were issued for 141 single-family homes throughout the metro during August, up nearly 25 percent from 115 in August 2014 and tied with August 2012 for the highest count for the month in six years.
