A dry and mild week

Record breaking high temperatures will be seen across New Mexico this afternoon. These above average temperatures will be sticking around through the end of the week.
A high pressure system has settled to the south of New Mexico this afternoon. The ridging associated with the high pressure is situated over New Mexico. Upper level ridging means sinking air over New Mexico. The sinking air will be bringing warm temperatures and clear skies across the state.
Temperatures are going to rapidly increa
