6-year-old raises thousands to benefit local organization

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – She may be young, but she’s already accomplished so much, and this Thanksgiving she plans on doing much more for one local organization.
Katie Perkins, only 6-years-old, has raised over $1,100 for the New Mexico Child Advocacy Networks (NMCAN).
NMCAN supports 15 Court Appointed Special Advocate programs across the state and provides direct services to young people as they transition from foster care to adulthood.
