2 people die in auto collision in west Phoenix

PHOENIX — Two people died early Monday morning when a vehicle they were traveling in was rear-ended by another vehicle whose driver was suspected of being impaired. The wreck caused a portion of 35th Avenue between Dunlap and Peoria to be closed during rush-hour traffic. Police say motorists will have to take alternate routes.
