12-year-old killed Saturday while ‘car-surfing’ in South Valley

BERNALILLO CO., N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputies say a 12-year-old boy was killed over the weekend while attempting to ‘car-surf’ in the South Valley.
It happened near Harrison Middle School around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. On Monday morning, a small memorial of candles, a pinwheel and balloons were placed in the school’s parking lot.
