1 dead in crash involving Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office unit, other vehicle

DOÑA ANA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office unit and another vehicle.The crash happened Monday night as two deputies were responding to an incident in the Las Alturas area. While deputies were headed south on Interstate 25, they collided with a vehicle that was pulled onto the freeway and was "traveling a significantly slower speed," the sheriff's office stated in a news release.Story conti
