Berkowitz files to run for re-election in 2018

In a form filed with the state’s Political Offices Commission Thursday, Berkowitz indicated he is planning to run again for mayor in 2018.
“This allows me to start moving on the campaign,” Berkowitz said by phone. “We’ll have a more formal, splashier announcement later in the year. But this is the time to begin.”
