36-year-old man found dead in Anchorage jail

A 36-year-old inmate has been found dead at the Anchorage Correctional Complex.
Department of Corrections officials say in a release that Brian Pinkerton was found dead just before 7 a.m. Thursday.
He had a full medical examination on Wednesday that didn’t indicate anything was wrong. An autopsy will be conducted, but officials say preliminary reports didn’t show any signs of physical trauma.
