Car fire in Trussville leads lawmen to apparent suicide victim inside home

Trussville police and fire responded at 6:20 a.m. to the home on Smith Simms Road at Mountain Ridge
Road, said Det. Michael Bruce. A passerby spotted the car on fire and stopped to knock on the door to alert the residents.
