Hartville McDonald’s to raise money for wounded Uniontown police officer

HARTVILLE: McDonald’s, 868 W. Maple St., plans to raise money to help a Uniontown police officer who was shot in the line of duty.The fast-food restaurant will donate 20 percent of all sales from 6 to 8 p.m. July 27 to help Sgt. David White.He was shot four times earlier this month while responding to a domestic violence call in Lake Township. The suspect was shot and killed.White is recovering from multiple surgeries at an Akron hospital.
