ZTE to unveil first gigabit LTE smartphone at MWC

(Telecompaper) ZTE announced plans to unveil a 'gigabit' smartphone at Mobile World Congress. ZTE said the "forward-looking" ZTE Gigabit Phone marks an "important cornerstone for the 5G mobile era". The device will support speeds of 1 Gbps, suggesting it will work on the new LTE Advanced Pro networks being rolled out.
