VMware launches cloud NFV platform and support programme

(Telecompaper) VMware has announced the launch of a number of network functions virtualization (NFV) offerings to help communications services providers (CSPs) migrate their infrastructure to a software-based model. Announced at VMworld 2015 Europe in Barcelona, the offerings include the vCloud NFV platform, the VMWare Ready accreditation programme and a number of other services delivered by VMware and its partners. The vCloud NFV platform brings together the core virtualisation and management c
