TPG, MyRepublic pre-qualify for Singapore spectrum auction

(Telecompaper) The Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) has announced that Australian operator TPG Telecom and internet start-up MyRepublic have pre-qualified to participate in the New Entrant Spectrum Auction, scheduled for December. The third interested bidder, airYotta, has been disqualified because it did not fully meet the auction requirements, the IMDA said, without providing details on the specific reasons for disqualifying the company.
