Telia Carrier tests Facebook's Voyager transponder

(Telecompaper) Telia Carrier has announced that the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) and Facebook completed a successful trial of 100 Gbps and 200 Gbps capacity using Facebook's Voyager gear on its 1,089 km Stockholm to Hamburg route. The Voyager equipment uses technology developed by Coriant, a supplier of SDN-enabled packet optical networking and DCI systems.
