T-Mobile sees less risk after takover of Vodafone fixed ops

(Telecompaper) T-Mobile Netherlands is taking over the operations of Vodafone Thuis (Vodafone Home) as a way to lessen the risk of being a mobile-only player, Deutsche Telekom told Telecompaper. Vodafone Netherlands announced an agreement last week to sell its fixed business to T-Mobile. The move marks the return of the mobile operator to the fixed market, after selling its fixed unit Online.nl to M7 Group in 2013.
