T-Mobile passes Verizon for top LTE speed in US

(Telecompaper) T-Mobile US has passed Verizon to become the fastest LTE provider in the US, according to the latest tests by Open Signal. In February the two operators were tied for first place in speed, but with an average LTE download speed of 16.3 Mbps in the more recent tests in May and June, T-Mobile managed to beat out its larger competitor, which scored 15.9 Mbps.
