Sprint names new CFO, technology chief

(Telecompaper) Sprint announced the appointment of Tarek Robbiati (50) as its new chief financial offer. He most recently was CEO at FlexiGroup, an Australian consumer finance company specializing in leasing. Previously he held senior executive positions, including group managing director and deputy CFO, at Australian carrier Telstra and was CEO of CSL, its Hong Kong mobile subsidiary. In addition, he served as head of corporate finance for Orange PLC. He will report to Sprint CEO Marcelo Clau
