Samsung to buy Harman for USD 8 bln

(Telecompaper) Samsung Electronics announced a deal to acquire Harman International Industries for USD 8.0 billion, expanding the company's capabilities in the connected car market. Over 30 million vehicles worldwide already use Harman's connected car and audio solutions, which include embedded infotainment, telematics, connected safety and security.
