Proximus converts to FTTP, roll-out to start in 2017
(Telecompaper) Belgian operator Proximus has announced plans to invest EUR 3 billion in rolling out FTTP over the next ten years. The company aims to cover 85 percent of businesses and more than 50 percent of households during the period. The incumbent already offers VDSL2 to nearly all the country, but FTTP has only been developed in new-build areas.
