Oracle loses Java infringement suit against Google
(Telecompaper) Oracle has lost its lawsuit against Google seeking a share of the profits from Android due to Google's use of Java code. Jurors in San Francisco federal court rejected Oracle's argument that Google needed a license to use its Java programming language to develop Android and concluded Google made fair use of the code under copyright law, Bloomberg reports.
