Nokia files patent infringement suits against Apple

(Telecompaper) Nokia announced that it has today filed complaints against Apple in Germany and the US, alleging that Apple products infringe a number of Nokia patents. Nokia said it agreed a partial licence with Apple in 2011 for some of its technology, but since then has been unable to reach agreement on extending the licence to other patented inventions by Nokia. Nokia said it is in the process of filing further actions in other jurisdictions.
