Mexico's Telcel and Movistar sign national roaming deal

(Telecompaper) Mexican mobile operator Telcel (America Movil) has announced a national roaming agreement with Movistar (Telefonica). In a brief statement, Telcel said it would let Movistar users access its network in areas not currently reached by the latter's mobile coverage, presumably allowing the Telefonica-owned operator to expand its 4G services throughout Mexico.
