KPN acquires Solcon

(Telecompaper) KPN has acquired Dutch regional ISP Solcon, a provider of internet, (mobile) telephony, hosting, television and secure email services for both individuals and businesses. With the acquisition, KPN strengthens its position in the broadband services market. The transaction was completed at the end of June. No financial details were given.
