Keysight buys Ixia for USD 1.6 bln in cash

(Telecompaper) Keysight Technologies has agreed to acquire Ixia for USD 1.6 billion in cash. The board of directors of both companies have unanimously approved the deal, which is expected to close by the end of October, subject to the usual closing conditions and approvals. Under the terms of the agreement, Ixia shareholders will receive USD 19.65 per share in cash.
