Intel hires ARM strategy VP to lead IoT group
(Telecompaper) Intel announced the appointment of Tom Lantzsch as its new senior vice president and general manager of the IoT Group. He comes from ARM, where he worked for 10 years, most recently as executive vice president of strategy. Intel also announced the creation of a new unit called the Automated Driving Group, which will focus on developing advanced driver assist systems and autonomous driving products. Doug Davis, who has worked over 30 years at Intel, will lead the new group.
