Google joins Indigo subsea cable group with Singtel, Telstra

(Telecompaper) Google has joined a consortium with operators Singtel and Telstra to build a new international subsea cable system, connecting Australia and southeast Asia. Other participants in the Indigo system (previously called APX West & Central) include AARNet, Indonesia's Indosat Ooredoo and SubPartners.
