German govt commits to gigabyte network by 2025

(Telecompaper) The German government has laid out a plan to roll out the necessary infrastructure for 1 Gbps download speeds in Germany by 2025. Federal Minister for Transport and Digital Infrastructure Alexander Dobrindt tabled a new policy paper laying out a four phase approach to a 'Gigabyte Society'.
