Facebook grows Q4 sales 51% on mobile expansion

(Telecompaper) Facebook reported another quarter of over 50 percent revenue growth in Q4, while also more than doubling net profit. The social network's revenue rose 51 percent year-on-year to USD 8.81 billion. With operating costs rising a slower 21 percent, the margin improved to 52 percent from 44 percent a year ago. Net profit jumped to USD 3.57 billion or USD 1.21 per share from USD 1.56 billion or USD 0.54 per share in Q4 2015.
