DT offers free mobile internet to compensate router outage

(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom is offering customers a free mobile internet day pass to compensate for a large-scale disruption to its fixed internet services. Excisting DT mobile customers can activate the free pass online, while others need to visit a Telekom shop to receive the offer. The German operator said around 900,000 of its customers, out of a total 20 million on the fixed network, were affected by the problems related to certain routers.
