DT, Huawei hit 1.2 Gbps in test of 4x4MIMO, 5-CA
(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom and Huawei have passed the 1 gigabit speed barrier for mobile data transfers in the LTE network, reaching over 1.22 Gbps via mobile radio during a live demonstration in Berlin. To achieve the speeds, the companies deployed a technology mix of four sending and receiving channels (4x4MIMO) and five carrier frequencies for the first time.
