Deutsche Telekom launches drone defence shield

(Telecompaper) Deutsche Telekom has introduced a drone defence shield system which will be available to clients from 1 December. The DroneTracker, developed for Deutsche Telekom by Dedrone, protects business premises from surveillance or attacks by remote controlled flying objects. Customers are able to collect evidence, put in place protection measures and use jamming to defend themselves against drone flyovers, though jamming requires approval from authorities.
