Cyanogen halts support for OS software

(Telecompaper) Mobile software developer Cyanogen announced that it's shut down its services and left further development of the CyanogenMod system to the open-source community. In a brief statement on its website, the company said that "as part of the ongoing consolidation of Cyanogen, all services and Cyanogen-supported nightly builds will be discontinued no later than 12/31/16".
