Cable One to buy NewWave for USD 735 mln

(Telecompaper) US operator Cable One has agreed to buy NewWave Communications for USD 735 million in cash from private equity group GTCR. Missouri-based NewWave is a cable operator providing TV, phone and broadband services to residential and business customers in parts of Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Texas.
