Arqiva, Samsung launch 5G fixed-wireless field trial

(Telecompaper) Communications infrastructure provider Arqiva and Samsung have launched a field trial of 5G fixed wireless access technology in central London. This is the first field trial of the technology in the UK and Europe and is powered by Samsung's 5G network platform and customer premise equipment, and Arqiva's 28 GHz millimetre wave spectrum.
