3 launches UK's first VoLTE service

(Telecompaper) Mobile operator 3 UK has launched the UK's first VoLTE service and is calling it '4G Super Voice'. The VoLTE service is carried over 800 MHz spectrum, whose shorter wavelength is better at going through walls. It also carries further to reach remote rural areas.
