Vatican ex-doctrine chief pens manifesto amid pope criticism

VATICAN CITY (AP) — The Vatican's former doctrine chief has penned a "manifesto of faith" to remind Catholics of basic tenets of belief amid what he says is "growing confusion" in the church today.
