The Latest: Iowa passenger killed in storm-related crash

At least one death early Saturday in eastern Iowa was being blamed on a powerful winter storm sweeping across much of the U.S. South and Midwest.Television station KCCI reported that a westbound semitrailer on Interstate 80 crashed just after midnight Saturday in Cedar County, east of Iowa City.Roads were completely covered in ice when the semitrailer left the road and overturned, killing a passenger in the truck, the Iowa State Patrol said.
