Study: Recent events not dampening Americans’ optimism in economy

The latest University of Michigan’s Survey of Consumers shows Americans continue to grow more confident in the U.S. economy, despite recent events and tragedies. In fact, during the survey, very few mentioned Charlottesville, North Korea or Hurricane Harvey.
