Specifically, a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and unsaturated fats in midlife can improve the chances of good mental and physical health decades later, a new report shows. Harvard researchers analyzed 30 years of data on over 106,000 participants, and what they found was dramatic. People with a healthy diet had 43-84% better chances of aging well compared with those who did not.
