China's New Energy Vehicle Production Soars for Year Through October

BEIJING--December 15, 2025--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), show the cumulative production of new energy (electric) vehicles (NEVs) in China reached 13.015 million units from January through October 2025, a year-over-year increase of 33.1%. In October, production stood at 1.772 million units, up 21.1% year-over-year.
