Brazil's Petrobras Hits 1 Million BBL/d at Buzios Field

Written by Amir Richani for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Petrobras (Rio do Janeiro, Brazil) reported record output of 1 million barrels per day (BBL/d) of oil from its Buzios oil field in the Santos Basin, offshore Rio de Janeiro, by the end of October, making it Brazil's largest oil producer. Buzios is the second oil field to reach such volumes after the Tupi field, which reached the mark in 2019, but has since then averaged lower volumes.
